Gibraltar Funds & Investments Association (GFIA) held its Annual General Meeting on 6 July 2021. The Association (formed in 1996) is the representative body for the funds and investments industry and plays a key role in liaison with the Gibraltar Government and authorities; providing continuing professional development and promoting the sector.
GFIA has over 70 members and recently announced a collaboration with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Ince Consultancy (Gibraltar) Limited are licensed fund administrators and regularly advises on the set-up and administration of funds, alongside its services to the wider financial services sector.
Heather Adamson (Head of Fiduciary) and Kunal Budhrani (Associate) of Ince were both appointed to the Executive Committee. Full details of the Executive Committee is available on GFIA's website.
The Executive Committee is committed to representing the interests of stakeholders in the Gibraltar funds and investment industry. GFIA will continue its close coordination with the Government and the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission, as well as provide its members with a full program of marketing, technical and training related events in what promises to be a busy year for the industry.
